Lorena Acevedo Rodas- Treasurer and Project Coordinator

Colombian reporter and Visual Anthropologist who graduated from the University of Barcelona. She has worked as a reporter for different news outlets and media companies in her country and she currently works in the investigation and realization of documentaries specifically and Cultural Affairs management more broadly. 

She joined Project Attica initially in the development of visual memories and workshops in New York City and later she coordinated the first Colombian artivist workshop with youth in vulnerable populations with the help of local community leaders. 

Her primary interest lie in the work of communities, investigation through social photography, theater, education through art and audio visual as tools that support processes, knowledge, and information. 

She currently is working on a documentary project related to memory and conservation of cultural heritage related to the music where she grew up.
