#Artivist Workshop at The Door During Ally Week on May 15th

Project Attica will be holding an Artivist Workshops at The Door, 121 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10013. The workshop is part of The Door's Ally Week.

During Ally Week, members of The Door will be engaging in a variety of activities inviting them to reflect on questions such as: What is an ally?  How does an ally show support for those who do not have a voice?

Ally Week is meant to broadly support LGBT youth and other marginalized groups and to challenge one another about what it means to be an ally and how we can all be allies for others.

Be an Ally!

#StopTheViolence Basketball Tournament

Project Attica has been invited once again to collaborate with the group "Stop The Violence" in their basketball tournament this coming Labor Day weekend in Cheraw, South Carolina.  We will be working with students from Cheraw High School and Malboro county in an artivist workshop where students will make their own t-shirts and following this they will participate in the basketball tournament.  We are raising funds in order for us to provide the artivist workshop in South Carolina so that students there can learn how social justice and art can be combined to empower them. Thanks for the support! We hope to see you then!
